Description of Leucomycin A4

Leucomycin A4 is a macrolide antibiotic that has been found in S. kitasatoensis. It is active against a variety of bacteria, including S. aureus, B. subtilis, C. diphtheriae, N. gonorrhoeae, and H. influenzae (MICs = 0.15, 1.25, 0.15, 0.6, and 0.15 µg/ml, respectively).
