باكسيلين هو مركب إندول ديتيربين من الفطريات يثبط بشكل فعال وقابل للعكس قنوات BKCa الكبرى المُحفّزة بالكالسيوم، كما تظهر دراسات التصحيح الخلايا العضلية الناعمة (Ki = 35.7 nM) و( Ki = 1.9 nM ) .[1],[2] كما أنه يزيد من ارتباط سام Charybdotoxin ، على قنوات BKCa.[3] باستخدام باكسيلين حاليًا في تقدير دور قنوات BKCa في عملية و استجابة خلايا مختلفة.[4],[5]
