Transketolase

Transketolase is a thiamine-dependent enzyme that play a key role in the pentose phosphate pathways and also contributed tothe photosynthetic Calvin cycle. It is associated with thiamine deficiency induced beriberi and wernicke-korsakoff syndrome.
