β-Ergocryptine (β-Ergokryptine) is a new Alkaloid of the Ergotoxine group. β-Ergocryptine can be isolated from ergot plants. β-Ergocryptine has adrenal hydrolytic activity, serotonin antagonism. β-Ergocryptine affects vascular tone[1][2].
