Bradford Protein Quantification Kit |
Catalog No.GK10027 |
The Bradford Protein Quantification Kit is a kit for rapid determination of protein concentrations in the range of 0.025-2mg/ml.
Products are for research use only. Not for human use. We do not sell to patients.
Sample solution is provided at 25 µL, 10mM.
Bradford Protein Quantification Kit is a protein concentration determination kit with fast detection speed, good stability, high sensitivity, and the detection data has a good linear relationship.
This kit is developed based on the Bradford method, one of the two most commonly used protein concentration detection methods. It is one of the most sensitive protein concentration detection methods currently commonly used. After the Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250 dye in the dye solution binds to the protein, the maximum absorption peak of the dye changes from A456 to A595, and the measured absorbance value is proportional to the protein concentration. Therefore, the protein concentration in the solution can be determined by detecting the absorbance at 595 nm, achieving a quick and easy protein concentration determination.
The detection speed of this kit is extremely fast. It takes less than 10 minutes to process 10-20 samples. Compared with the BCA method, the detection time is greatly shortened. It is not affected by the chemical reagents in most samples, and the detection results are reliable.
1. Standard curve
1.1 Dilute the protein standard with 0.9% NaCl, PBS or water. If the protein standard (2mg/ml BSA) is frozen, please thaw it completely and mix it before use.
1.2 Prepare a new standard product system according to the table below. Be careful to mix thoroughly each time you dilute.

2. Add 5μl of protein standards of different concentrations into the protein standard wells of the 96-well plate.
3. Take 5μl of protein sample into the sample well of the 96-well plate.
Notice:
① If the sample is less than 5μl, add standard diluent to make up to 5μl;
② Please note the sample volume.
4. Add 250μl Bradford staining solution to each well.
5. Use a microplate reader to measure the absorbance at 595nm, or the absorbance at other wavelengths between 560-610nm.
Note: The absorbance can be measured immediately or within 2 hours. There will be no significant change in the detection data within 2 hours.
6. Calculate the protein concentration in the sample based on the standard curve and the sample volume used.
