Lonidamine (AF-1890), an antitumor agent, is a hexokinase, mitochondrial pyruvate carrier (Ki 2.5 μM in isolated rat liver mitochondria) and plasma membrane monocarboxylate transporters inhibitor, which also inhibits mitochondrial complex II[1][2].
