Coomassie Blue Fast Staining Solution is a ready-to-use Coomassie Brilliant Blue protein staining solution designed for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It is intended for use by heating in a microwave for 2 minutes and subsequently placing it on a shaker for 5 minutes. This staining solution exhibits extremely high sensitivity, allowing for specific protein staining, with visible bands achievable at protein sample quantities as low as 10 ng. The Coomassie Blue Fast Staining Solution is exceptionally convenient to use, requiring only a one-step staining process, significantly reducing the time needed for staining. It provides a clean background without the need for fixation, washing, or destaining steps, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio of the staining process. Furthermore, this formulation is safe, non-toxic, and easy to handle. Its methanol-free composition prevents gel shrinkage.

Operating procedures:
(1) After the electrophoresis is completed, peel the gel off the glass plate and place it in a plastic container. Invert and mix the staining solution, then pour an appropriate amount of the staining solution into the plastic container. Place it in a microwave and heat until it emits a slight steam (hot to the touch is sufficient). Transfer the container to a shaker and shake for 2-5 minutes. If a clearer protein band is desired, the staining time can be extended accordingly.
(2) Photograph the gel. The used staining solution can be transferred to a new container, and the staining solution can be reused 1-2 times (the second staining may not be as effective as the first).
Notice:
1. This dyeing solution is a suspension. For better dyeing, please be sure to invert and mix well before use;
2. Proteins stained with Coomassie Brilliant Blue are generally no longer suitable for other experiments;
3. Microwave heating can greatly increase the sensitivity and color development speed of the dye solution. Microwave heating for dyeing is recommended;
4. When heating with microwave, you need to always pay attention to the state of the dye solution. Just heat it until the dye solution is slightly boiling. It depends on the situation. There is no need to heat for 2-3 minutes;
5. If the heating conditions are not met, you can choose to incubate and stain on a shaker at room temperature, and extend the staining time appropriately according to the color development.
