Description of CuprosGreen

Although copper exists only in trace amounts in living organisms, as a transition metal, it plays an important role in the active centers of enzymes that regulate life phenomena such as respiration and metabolism. Specifically, copper promotes the synthesis of hemoglobin by helping to transport iron, thereby activating iron metabolism; at the same time, it binds to superoxide dismutase1 (SOD1) to remove reactive oxygen species. This shows that copper plays an important role in maintaining our life activities.

In addition, copper has also attracted attention in recent years in the study of cell death. Ferroptosis, a relatively new cell death pathway that starts with iron (II) ions, is very actively studied. Unlike Ferroptosis, a new cell death pathway (Cuproptosis) that starts with copper (I) ions has also been discovered. CuprosGreen is a fluorescent probe that selectively reacts with copper (I) ions in cells and emits fluorescence. Because it is cell membrane permeable, it can perform live cell imaging of copper (I) ions.

Features:

● A reagent that can selectively detect monovalent copper ions in cells.
● Suitable for microscopic observation and microplate reader reading detection.
● Easy-to-use solution type, no additional dissolving operation required.

Calculate

In vivo Formulation Calculator (Clear solution) of CuprosGreen

Step 1: Enter information below (Recommended: An additional animal making an allowance for loss during the experiment)

mg/kg g μL

Step 2: Enter the in vivo formulation (This is only the calculator, not formulation. Please contact us first if there is no in vivo formulation at the solubility Section.)

% DMSO % % Tween 80 % ddH2O
%DMSO %

Calculation results:

Working concentration: mg/ml;

Method for preparing DMSO master liquid: mg drug pre-dissolved in μL DMSO ( Master liquid concentration mg/mL, Please contact us first if the concentration exceeds the DMSO solubility of the batch of drug. )

Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take μL DMSO master liquid, next addμL PEG300, mix and clarify, next addμL Tween 80, mix and clarify, next add μL ddH2O, mix and clarify.

Method for preparing in vivo formulation: Take μL DMSO master liquid, next add μL Corn oil, mix and clarify.

Note: 1. Please make sure the liquid is clear before adding the next solvent.
2. Be sure to add the solvent(s) in order. You must ensure that the solution obtained, in the previous addition, is a clear solution before proceeding to add the next solvent. Physical methods such as vortex, ultrasound or hot water bath can be used to aid dissolving.
3. All of the above co-solvents are available for purchase on the GlpBio website.
