N1-Methylpseudo-UTP (N1-Me-pUTP, m1ψ) ist eine Methylmodifikation von natürlich vorkommendem Pseudouridin (pseudo-UTP, pUTP), die durch das N1-spezifische Pseudouridin in Archaeen und Eukaryoten katalysiert wird. Es wird durch die Glykosidmethyltransferase Nepl katalysiert[1]. N1-Me-pUTP ist ein Ersatz für Uracil (U) in RNA-Therapien und Impfstoffen, der die RNA-Stabilität effektiv erhöhen kann, während gleichzeitig anti-RNA-immunologische Reaktionen reduziert werden können[2].
