Description of ω-Conotoxin GVIA

ω-Conotoxin GVIA는 해산물의 독소로 뉴런의 N형 채널을 선택적으로 차단한다.ω-Conotoxin GVIA는 인간 신변엽, 쥐 해마구리, 닭 뇌의 섬유질막에 결합 한다(IC50s = 46, 60, 150 pM, 각각 radioligand에서 구속력 있는 검사)[3,4,5]. ω-Conotoxin GVIA는 쥐의 정박경 앞 쪽 근의 연속 수축 강도를 현저하게 감소시켰지만, 연속 수축 촉진은 손상되지 않았다. 직접 전기 자극으로 유발된 근 수축은 ω-Conotoxin GVIA에 의해 현저하게 변경되지 않았다. ω-Conotoxin GVIA는 전신적 혈압에서 유의미한 변화가 없었다[5].
