Cytochalasin B (Phomin)는 세포를 통과할 수 있는 묵균독소이며, 이는 Phoma 속에 속하는 자낭균으로부터 분리되었다. Cytochalasin B는 직접적으로 세포골격 단백질의 중합에 직접적인 영향을 미쳐 액틴 마이크로파일러메트의 형성을 억제할 수 있다. F-actin의 빠르게 성장하는 쪽에 결합하고 덧셈단백질과 상호작용하여 액틴 마이크로파일러메트의 핵생장-연장 과정에 영향을 미친다[3-4].
Cytochalasin B (0.1-10 µM; 0-72시간)는 용량 의존적으로 hASCs의 대사, 증식, 형태에 영향을 미치고 액틴 마이크로파일러메트의 점진적인 해체와 관련이 있다[5]. Cytochalasin B는 여러 종류의 세포에서 DNA 조각화를 유도할 수 있다[6]. Cytochalasin B (10-8-10-1M; 24-96시간)는 용량과 시간에 따라 U251 세포 증식을 효과적으로 억제한다. Cytochalasin B는 용량 의존적으로 G2/M 단계의 세포 비율을 증가시켜 미토틱 인덱스를 증가시키고 CDC2 및 cyclin B1 단백질 수준을 낮운다[7].
Cytochalasin B(Cytochalasin B는 2% 카르복시메틸 셀룰로오스 1% 트윈 20 (CMC/Tw)의정지 형태로 준비됐다; 장내 주사; 10, 25, 또는 50 mg/kg; 8일)는 용량 의존적으로 P388/ADR 백혈병을 앓고 있는 Balb/c 쥐의 수명을 연장시킨다[8]. Cytochalasin B(5 µg/ml Cytochalasin B; 30분)는 쥐 알기뇨세포에 대한내 정자 주입(ICSI) 중에 처리되어 발아율을 증가시키며, 발육에 지장을 주지 않는다[9].
