Sephadex LH 20은 Sephadex G-25의 하이드록시프로필 유도체이다. 그의겔 매트릭스는 극성 유기 용매나 수성-유기 혼합 시스템에서의 호환성을 현저하게 향상시키기 위해 수정되었다[3]. Sephadex LH 20 충전재는 스테로이드, 테르펜류, 지질, 저분자량 펩타이드와 같은 천연물질의 제조와 정제에 일반적으로 사용된다[4, 5].
