Z-Ala-OSu is an alanine derivative with N-hydroxysuccinimide ester [1]. Z-Ala-OSu can react with Ala-NHPro-Val-Ala-Ala-NH HCl at room temperature for 60 hours to form hydrazinopeptides [2]. Z-Ala-OSu can be used as a starting material for the synthesis of Z-Ala-Ala-NH2 and related polypeptide chains[3].
