Cibisatamab, a T cell bispecific antibody, binds Carcino-Embryonic Antigen ( CEA ) on cancer cells and CD3 on T cells. Cibisatamab triggers T cell killing of cancer cell lines expressing moderate to high levels of CEA at the cell surface. Cibisatamab can be used for colorectal cancer research [1].
In Vitro, Cibisatamab (20 nM; co-cultured with CD8 T cells for 7-10 days) is highly sensitive to patient-derived colorectal cancer organoids (PDOs) with high CEA expression, shows resistance to PDOs with low CEA expression, and has low sensitivity to PDOs with mixed CEA expression[1].
