ABCC6 modulator-3 (Compound I-71) is a ABCC6 activator with an EC 50 < 1 μM. ABCC6 modulator-3 upregulates the expression of wild-type ABCC6. ABCC6 modulator-3 is used in research on diseases associated with ABC transporter dysfunction [1].
In Vitro, ABC transporter modulator-3 potently increases the expression level of ABCC6 WT, with an EC50 < 1 μM[1]. ABC transporter modulator-3 fails to effectively upregulate the expression of ABCB4 WT, with an EC50 ≥ 25 μM[1]. ABC transporter modulator-3 fails to effectively increase the expression level of ABCA4P1380L, with an EC50 ≥ 25 μM[1].
