Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) is a non-depleting rat IgG2a monoclonal antibody that binds to CD8α on mouse CD8 + T cells. When used in combination with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody, Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) does not deplete CD8 + T cells, but instead promotes the induction of peripheral tolerance in this cell subset. Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) can be used for research on graft rejection. The recommended isotype control is Mouse IgG2a kappa, Isotype Control [1].
In Vivo, Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) (7 mg total per mouse; every other day; 2 weeks) co-administered with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody induces permanent, antigen-specific transplantation tolerance to minor antigen-mismatched B10.BR skin allografts in CBA/Ca mice, with sustained survival of primary and secondary donor grafts beyond 200 days while preserving immunocompetence to reject third-party grafts[1]. Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) (7 mg total per mouse; 1-3 weeks) co-administered with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody enables chimerism induction and permanent transplantation tolerance to minor antigen-mismatched B10.BR bone marrow and skin allografts in CBA/Ca mice[1]. Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) (7 mg total per mouse; three times per week; 3 weeks) co-administered with a non-depleting anti-CD4 antibody modulates CD4 antigen expression in normal CBA/Ca mice without causing significant depletion of CD4+ or CD8+ T cells[1].
In Vitro, Anti-Mouse CD8α Antibody (YTS 105.18) binds to Ly-2-transfected mouse L cells and is a rat IgG2a isotype antibody[1].
