5Oxo-MEHTP is an urinary metabolite of di(2-ethylhexyl) terephthalate (DEHTP). 5Oxo-MEHTP is predominantly excreted in glucuronidated form via urine [1] [2].
In Vitro, 5Oxo-MEHTP can be used as a specific urinary biomarker for DEHTP exposure in humans[1].
