ACSL5-IN-2 is a ACSL5 inhibitor that reduces the average body weight of diet-induced obese mice. ACSL5-IN-2 can be used for research on obesity [1] [2].
In Vivo, ACSL5-IN-2 (compound B) reduces the average body weight of diet-induced obese mice within 28 days; it decreases blood glucose levels in the OGTT test and antagonizes insulin-induced blood glucose reduction in the ITT test; it reduces the epididymal fat weight and epididymal fat coefficient of mice, with no significant effect on liver or heart weight[2].
In Vitro, ACSL5-IN-2 exhibits excellent inhibitory activity against ACSL5 and CBA targets, with an IC50 of less than 100 nM[1].
