MMV019662 TFA is a PfNCR1 inhibitor and antimalarial agent. MMV019662 TFA reduces gametocytemia levels of Plasmodium falciparum. MMV019662 TFA is applicable to malaria-related research [1] [2].
In Vitro, MMV019662 (3× EC90; 13 days) TFA significantly reduces the total gametocytaemia level of blood-stage gametocytes of Plasmodium falciparum[1]. MMV019662 (72 h) TFA inhibits the growth of the asexual erythrocytic stage of P. falciparum (Plasmodium falciparum) with an EC50 of 1.18 μM[1]. MMV019662 (0-100 μM) TFA does not thermostabilize purified PfNCR1[1].
