N-Carbobenzoxytyramine (N-CBZ-Tyramine), a carbobenzoxy derivatives of amino acid, is a competitive inhibitor of glutaminase activity [1].

In Vitro, N-Carbobenzoxytyramine (12 μmoles) inhibits phosphate-dependent sonicated rat liver glutaminase activity by 60%[1].
