In Vivo, Cinflumide (Compound 1) (i.p.; p.o.) is a potent, acting muscle relaxant in mice, exhibiting an ED50 of 63 mg/kg (i.p.)[1]. Cinflumide (p.o.) is a potent antiinflammatory agent in rats, with ED50 values of <20 mg/kg for reducing cell accumulation and edema, respectively, in the Carrageenan -induced pleurisy model[1].
