Nucleotides/Nucleosides and their analogs are considered to be an important group of bioactive compounds with crucial antiviral (anti-HVB, anti-HCV and anti-HIV etc.) and antitumor effect. 3?-deoxy-3', 4?-didehydro-UTP (ddhUTP) is a synthetic chain terminator for the RNA-dependent RNA polymerases. It can be used in study of RNA-mediated regulation in microbes and antiviral drugs.
