Dot1L-IN-1 TFA est un inhibiteur sélectif et efficace de Dot1L, avec une Ki de 2 pM et un IC50 inférieur à 0,1 nM. Dot1L-IN-1 TFA inhibe efficacement la diméthylation de H3K79 dans les cellules HeLa (IC50 = 3 nM) ainsi que l'activité du promoteur HoxA9 dans les cellules Molm-13 (IC50 = 17 nM).
