Description

Near-infrared, sulfhydryl reactive Cyanine7 dye, an analog of Cy7® maleimide.

This reagent allows to attach near infrared Cyanine7 dye to proteins with free sulfhydryl groups. Labeled proteins thus obtained are used in NIR bioimaging applications. NIR imaging systems can be used to visualize distribution of labeled proteins in tissues even in live organism.

Storage
Storage: 24 months after receival at -20°C in the dark. Transportation: at room temperature for up to 3 weeks. Avoid prolonged exposure to light. Desiccate.
General tips
Select a suitable solvent according to the product solubility data. Once prepared, aliquot the stock solution to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Use stock solutions within 6 months when stored at -80°C or within 1 month when stored at -20°C.
To improve solubility, warm the tube to 37°C and sonicate it for an appropriate period.
Shipping Condition
Evaluation samples are shipped with blue ice. Other available sizes are shipped at room temperature or with blue ice upon request.
