Noratropine is a major metabolite of Atropine. Noratropine can be formed from Atropine via oxidative N-demethylation and can also be isolated from Anthocercis littorea. Atropine is a competitive muscarinic acetylcholine receptor ( mAChR ) antagonist. Atropine can be used in research on anti-myopia and bradycardia [1] [2] [3] [4].
