Scrambled 10Panx TFA (FSVYWAQADR TFA) is an inactive scrambled control peptide of the Pannexin-1 hemichannel inhibitory peptide 10panx [1] [2].
In Vivo, Animal Model: CD1 (adult male, 6-8 weeks, chronic constriction injury model)[2] Dosage: 100 μM, 6 μl Administration: intrasciatic injection; single dose Result: Did not alter CCI-induced mechanical or thermal hyperalgesia. Left mechanical and thermal pain thresholds at reduced levels seen in vehicle-treated CCI mice. Showed no significant improvement across days 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 post-injection.
In Vitro, Scrambled 10Panx TFA serves as a control peptide, which can be used to determine whether other experimental conditions or peptides exert effects through specific molecular mechanisms[1].
