Adamantan-2-amine (2-Aminoadamantane) serves as the hydrophobic tag structural unit of Tubulin degrader 2 and is used for the synthesis of anticancer drugs that target tubulin via a dual mechanism. Adamantan-2-amine can be applied in research on breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer, and Parkinson's syndrome [1] [2] [3].
In Vitro, Adamantan-2-amine (2-Aminoadamantane) (0.05 mol; 20 min) hydrochloride successfully undergoes fusion with dicyandiamide at 190°C to produce 1-(2-adamantyl) biguanide hydrochloride with 85% yield[3].
