H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC TFA (Plasmin substrate TFA) is a plasmin -specific fluorescent substrate. H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC TFA can be cleaved to generate a fluorescent signal, which is used to determine plasmin activity. Abs/Em=380/500 nm [1].
In Vitro, H-D-Val-Leu-Lys-AFC TFA (6 μM; 30 min) enables quantitative detection of plasmin activity generated by Enterococcus faecalis-mediated activation of human glutamyl plasminogen in the presence of uPA, and the measured activity correlates with bacterial concentration[1].
