ML364 est un inhibiteur sélectif de la peptidase 2 spécifique de l'ubiquitine (USP2) (IC50 = 1,1 μM) avec une activité anti-proliférative, qui se lie directement À l'USP2 (Kd = 5,2 μM), induit une augmentation de la dégradation de la cycline D1 cellulaire et provoque un arrêt du cycle cellulaire. ML364 augmente les niveaux de ROS mitochondriales et diminue le contenu intracellulaire de l'ATP.
