Peptide HRH acetate is a polypeptide that specifically binds to VEGF receptors. Peptide HRH acetate inhibits VEGF -stimulated endothelial cell proliferation. Peptide HRH acetate inhibits angiogenesis and suppresses corneal neovascularization. Peptide HRH acetate can be used in anti-angiogenesis related studies [1].
In Vivo, Peptide HRH (10-50 μg/μL; local application to CAM; 48 h) acetate dose-dependently suppresses angiogenesis in the chick CAM model[1]. Peptide HRH (10 μg/μL; topical eye drops; four times per day; 14 days) acetate significantly inhibits corneal neovascularization in the alkali-burned rat corneal model[1]. Peptide HRH (10 μg/μL; topical eye drops; four times per day; 14 days) acetate significantly inhibits corneal neovascularization in the suture-induced rat corneal model[1].
In Vitro, Peptide HRH (0.95-3.85 μg/μL; 96 h) acetate dose-dependently inhibits the proliferation of VEGF-stimulated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs)[1].
