In Vitro, Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are a novel class of anti-tumor drugs, consisting of three parts: a targeting antibody—which specifically recognizes tumor cell surface antigens and acts as a "navigator"; a linker; and a cytotoxic payload. Zocilurtatug can serve as the targeting antibody component of an ADC, conjugated with a topoisomerase I inhibitor (camptothecin derivative) payload via a cleavable linker to form the complete ADC Zocilurtatug pelitecan. This allows for precise delivery of the cytotoxic payload to DLL3-positive tumor cells, killing tumor cells while minimizing damage to normal cells[1][2].
