1,2,3-Tri-13(E)-docosenoyl-rac-glycerol is a triacylglycerol that contains 13(E)-docosenoic acid at the sn-1, sn-2, and sn-3 positions. Dietary administration of 1,2,3-tri-13(E)-docosenoyl-rac-glycerol (15% of the diet) in weanling rats fed a calcium-deficient diet transiently increases heart triglyceride levels, which return to baseline after 28 days.1
