Description of DIMBOA

DIMBOA(2,4-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one)은 벤조자신류(BX)의 일종으로서 잔디속에 존재하는 2차 대사물질이다. DIMBOA는 항생제와 화학적 방어계통의 일부이고 옥수수, 밀, 라면과 같은 밀과목 식물의 화학적 방어계통의 일부이다[1,2]. DIMBOA는 황금콩균, 대장균, 맥주효모와 같은 많은 박테리아와 곰팡의 성장을 억제하는 성질을 가지고 있다[2]. 방출되면 BX는 수용액 환경에서 상대적으로 빠르게 분해되고 반감기가 24시간 미만이다[1].

DIMBOA는 약한 박테리아 변이물질이고 더욱이 인간에서 유래한 간세포(HepG2 세포)에서 비정상적인 세포핵수를 유발한다[3]. DIMBOA는 HepG2 세포계에서 유전독성 효과를 보였다[4].

DIMBOA는 녹각균에 대한 항생활성을 나타내고 최소 억제 농도(MICs)가 50, 100, 200 mg/L이다. DIMBOA는 또한 박테리아 성장에 영향을 미치고 생물막 형성을 줄이고 24시간 내에 군집 이동성을 억제한다[5].

DIMBOA를 최종 농도 5 µg/mL로 추가하기 전에 P. putida KT2440 세포는 100 mL M9 매체에서 중간 지수 성장기로 성장했습니다. 1시간의 노출 후 세포는 4°C에서 원심분리하여 수확되었습니다.

응용 분야

다른 토양세균에 비해 P. putida KT2440는 DIMBOA에 상대적으로 견딜 수 있습니다. 모든 후속 실험에서 DIMBOA는 5 µg/mL (0.023 mM)의 농도로 사용되었습니다.
