L-Isoleucic acid ((2S,3S)-2-Hydroxy-3-methylpentanoic acid) ((S)-isoleucic acid) is a non-proteinogenic amino acid derivative. L-Isoleucic acid can be used as a key synthetic building block to construct JBIR-39 [1].
