FBPase

FBPase (Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase) is a rate-limiting enzyme of gluconeogesis that catalyze the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate. It functions in pancreatic beta-cell glucose sensing and insulin secretion and link to hypoglycemia and metabolic acidosis.
