3-aceCA is an orally active 3 α -O-acetyl cholic acid derivative and monoacylated bile acid. 3-aceCA can be used for the study of gut microbiota-bile acid metabolism and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) [1] [2].
In Vivo, 3-aceCA (10 mg/kg; p.o.; 3 times/week; 3 weeks) does not alleviate MASH progression in CDAA-HFD-fed SPF mice[1].
