C-telopeptide acetate is a cross-linked peptide of type I collagen that is released during bone resorption and correlates with bone mineral density (BMD). C-telopeptide acetate can be used in studies related to postmenopausal osteoporosis [1] [2] [3].
In Vitro, C-telopeptide (1-100 ng/mL; overnight, 2 h, 30 min) acetate ELISA exhibits high sensitivity (0.3 ng/mL) for detecting synthetic rat C-telopeptide in vitro[2].
