Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4), originally identified in 1966 as a dipeptide naphthylamidase hydrolyzing glycyl-prolyl-beta-naphthylamide, is a membrane-associated peptidase that selectively cleaves the N-terminal penultimate proline or alanine amino acids. The most common substrates of DPP-4 include glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2), peptide YY, neuropeptide, chemokine ligand 12/stromal-derived factor-1 (CXCL12/SDF-1) and substance P. DPP-4, as a type II cell surface protein and a soluble form, has been found to be widely distributed in organs (such as the bone marrow, the lung, spleen, liver, pancreas, kidney and intestines) and body fluids (such as serum/plasma, cerebrospinal fluid, synovial fluid and semen). Besides its peptidase activity, DPP-4 has been found to be associated with immune stimulation, extracellular matrix degradation, lipid accumulation and resistance to anticancer agents.

- GC12895SaxagliptinCAS: 361442-04-8Purity: >99.50%
Saxagliptin is a highly potent dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor that regulates blood glucose by selectively inhibiting the DPP-4 enzyme, thereby elevating levels of endogenous glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP).
- GC10104GlimepirideCAS: 93479-97-1Purity: >98.00%
Glimepiride is a second-generation sulfonylurea that stimulates pancreatic β cells to release insulin. Glimepiride is used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitu as monotherapy as well as in combination with metformin or insulin.
- GC14786P32/98 (hemifumarate)CAS: 251572-86-8Purity: >98%
competitive transition-state substrate analog inhibitor of DPP IV
- GC10018Talabostat mesylateCAS: 150080-09-4Purity: >99.00%
Talabostat (PT100) is an orally active and non-selective inhibitor of dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP-IV) ( IC 50 < 4 nM; K i = 0.18 nM) and the first clinical inhibitor of fibroblast activation protein (FAP) ( IC 50 = 560 nM), inhibiting DPP 8/9 ( IC 50 = 4/11 nM; K i = 1.5/0.76 nM), prolyl endopeptidase (QPP) (IC50= 310 nM), DPP2, and other DASH family enzymes.
