FITC-PEG3-JQ-1 TFA is a fluorescently labeled derivative of JQ-1. FITC-PEG3-JQ-1 TFA can convert the high affinity of JQ-1 for BET into a detectable fluorescent signal.

In Vitro, FITC-PEG3-JQ-1 TFA is formed by coupling the BET bromine domain inhibitor JQ1 with fluorescein (FITC) via a hydrophilic PEG3 linker.
