Lipid 8 is an ionizable cationic lipid molecule that can be protonated in acidic buffers to efficiently compress mRNA, forming the core of lipid nanoparticles. Lipid 8 can be used for research related to the delivery of gene editing tools/mRNA vaccines and tumor immunity/T cell-mediated autoimmune diseases[1-4].
