Description

Olsalazine -d 6 is the deuterium labeled Olsalazine. Olsalazine is an orally active prodrug of 5-ASA. Olsalazine can inhibit cells proliferation and induce apoptosis. Olsalazine can reduce DAI and MPO activity and inhibit inflammatory cytokines levels. Olsalazine can be used for the researches of cancer, inflammation and metabolic disease, such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and hyperuricemic.

In Vitro, Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs.
