Description

Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution is a ready-to-use Romanowsky-type staining solution that can be used for staining blood and cell smears, bacteria, chromosome banding, parasites, and other specimens. Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution stains blood smears to reveal blood parasites including Plasmodium, microfilariae, and trypanosomes. Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution enables morphological identification of blood cells, and can also stain fixed cells to observe muscle cell nuclei, distinguish myotubes from myoblasts, and quantitatively analyze the differentiation status of myoblasts [1] [2] [3].

In Vitro, Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution acts on methanol-fixed myotubes to distinguish multinucleated myotubes from mononuclear myoblasts for myogenesis quantification[1]. Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution can stain multiple blood parasites including Schüffner's dots of Plasmodium vivax/ Plasmodium ovale, microfilariae, and trypanosomes[2]. Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution incubates on methanol-fixed thick blood smears for 20-30 minutes, which can lyse red blood cells to expose Plasmodium and clearly present the morphological features of the parasites[3]. Ready-to-Use Giemsa Staining Solution enables rapid screening of malaria parasites and displays characteristic morphological markers of malaria parasites[3].
