NNMT-IN-7 is a nicotinamide N-methyltransferase ( NNMT ) inhibitor with an IC50 of 505.7 μM against human targets. NNMT-IN-7 inhibits the catalytic activity of NNMT, an enzyme responsible for mediating N-methylation modification of endogenous and exogenous xenobiotics. NNMT-IN-7 can be used in research related to obesity and type 2 diabetes [1].
In Vitro, NNMT-IN-7 (compound 4e) (10 nM to 1 mM; 6 min) inhibits purified triple-mutant human NNMT with an IC50 of 505.7 μM[1].
