Descripción (Description)

Toliprolol is a β 1 /β 2 -selective β- adrenergic Receptor antagonist. Toliprolol is used in the research of angina pectoris and hypertension [1].

In Vitro, Toliprolol (Compound 4d) acts as a β1-adrenergic receptor antagonist in isolated guinea pig left atria, with a pA2 value of 8.75[1]. Toliprolol acts as a β2-adrenergic receptor antagonist in isolated guinea pig tracheal chains, with a pA2 value of 7.94 and a β1/β2 selectivity ratio of 6.5[1].
