Tyrosinase-IN-50 (Compound 14) is a Tyrosinase inhibitor ( IC50 is 0.06 μM or 0.16 μM). Tyrosinase-IN-50 inhibits melanogenesis in multiple cell types. Tyrosinase-IN-50 can be used for the research of hyperpigmentation-related diseases and inflammatory diseases [1].
In Vitro, Tyrosinase-IN-50 (5 min) exhibits an IC50 of 0.06 μM against tyrosinase in MNT-1 melanoma cells and an IC50 of 0.16 μM against tyrosinase in B16-F10 mouse skin melanoma cells[1]. Tyrosinase-IN-50 (1-10 μM; 6 days) inhibits melanogenesis in MNT-1 human melanoma cells in a concentration-dependent manner, with the melanin content at 10 μM being only 9.57% of that in the untreated group[1]. Tyrosinase-IN-50 (3.2-10000 μM) exhibits concentration-dependent DPPH radical scavenging activity, with the maximum scavenging rate reaching up to 49.45% at 10000 μM[1]. Tyrosinase-IN-50 (10 μM; 48 h) enhances the activity of the ARE/NRF2 reporter gene in HEK293T cells[1]. Tyrosinase-IN-50 (3-30 μM; 2 h) exerts a dose-dependent anti-inflammatory effect in LPS-induced RAW264.7 mouse macrophages[1].
