Beschreibung (Description)

Chktide acetate is a synthetic peptide substrate applicable for activity assays of Chk1 kinase and cyk/CaMKII. Chktide acetate contains the Ser53 phosphorylation site of Xenopus cyclin B2 [1] [2].

In Vitro, Chktide acetate serves as a standard synthetic substrate for Chk1 serine protein kinase assays and can be used for the quantitative detection of Chk1 catalytic activity[1]. Chktide acetate contains the Ser53 phosphorylation site of Xenopus cyclin B2, and upon phosphorylation, it induces a prophase-like premature phenotype in fibroblasts[2].
