Description

Rucaparib -d 3 (AG014699-d 3 ) is the deuterated -labeled Rucaparib. Rucaparib (AG014699) is an orally active, potent inhibitor of PARP proteins (PARP-1, PARP-2 and PARP-3) with a K i of 1.4 nM for PARP1. Rucaparib is a modest hexose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (H6PD) inhibitor. Rucaparib has the potential for castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) research [1] [2] [3] [4].

In Vivo, Animal Model: Female CD-1 nude mice aged 10-12 weeks with Capan-1 cells[2] Dosage: 10 mg/kg for i.p. or 50, 150 mg/kg for p.o. Administration: IP or PO Result: Significantly inhibited the growth of the tumor.

In Vitro, Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process. Deuteration has gained attention because of its potential to affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs.
