DIMBOA(2,4-dihydroxy-7-methoxy-2H-1,4-benzoxazin-3(4H)-one) ist ein Benzoxazinoid(BX) und ein sekundärer Pflanzenstoff in Gräsern[1]. DIMBOA wirkt antibiotisch und allelopathisch und ist Bestandteil des chemischen Abwehrsystems von Gräsern wie Mais, Weizen und Roggen[1,2]. DIMBOA hemmt das Wachstum vieler untersuchter Bakterien- und Pilzstämme, einschließlich Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli sowie Saccharomyces cerevisiae[2]. Nach der Freisetzung werden BXs in wässrigen Umgebungen relativ schnell abgebaut; ihre Halbwertszeit beträgt weniger als 24 Stunden[1].
DIMBOA ist ein schwaches bakterielles Mutagen und verursachte auch Aneuploidie in humanen Leberzellen(HepG2-Zellen)[3]. DIMBOA zeigte genotoxische Wirkungen in der HepG2-Zelllinie[4].
DIMBOA zeigte antibakterielle Aktivität gegen Ralstonia solanacearum mit minimalen Hemmkonzentrationen(MICs) von 50, 100 und 200 mg/L. DIMBOA beeinflusste auch erheblich das Bakterienwachstum, reduzierte die Biofilmbildung und hemmte die Schwärmmotilität innerhalb von 24 Stunden[5].

Vorbereitungsmethode | P. putida KT2440-Zellen wurden in 100 mL M9-Medium bis zur mittleren exponentiellen Wachstumsphase kultiviert, bevor DIMBOA bis zu einer Endkonzentration von 5 µg mL-1 zugegeben wurde. Nach einer einstündigen Exposition wurden die Zellen durch Zentrifugation bei 4°C geerntet. |
