HDAC6-IN-85 is a selective HDAC6 inhibitor, with pIC 50 values of 5.4, 5.5, 5.9, and 4.8 against rHDAC1, rHDAC3, rHDAC6, and rHDAC8, respectively. HDAC6-IN-85 can be used in the research of cervical cancer, lung cancer, and colon cancer [1].
In Vitro, HDAC6-IN-85 (Compound 7) potently inhibits the HDAC isozyme mixture in HeLa nuclear extracts, with a pIC50 of 6.3[1]. HDAC6-IN-85 inhibits the proliferation of HeLa cervical cancer cells with a pIC50 value of 5.6[1]. HDAC6-IN-85 inhibits recombinant HDAC isozymes, with the highest inhibitory potency against rHDAC6 (pIC50 = 5.9) and the lowest inhibitory potency against rHDAC8 (pIC50 = 4.8)[1]. HDAC6-IN-85 inhibits the proliferation of A549 lung cancer cells and RKO colon cancer cells, with a pIC50 value of 5.2 for the former and 5.7 for the latter[1].
