Docosahexaenoic acid-d5 methyl ester (DHA-d5 methyl ester) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of DHA methyl ester by GC- or LC-MS. DHA methyl ester is an esterified form of DHA . It has been used as a reference standard in the quantification of fatty acids in microalgal and fish oils.1
